Genopets
A game loop built around everyday movement.
The signal.
Genopets explored a consumer behavior that crypto often missed: building a habit first, then letting ownership deepen the relationship rather than lead the pitch.
A move-to-play game that turns activity data into progression for a digital companion, combining mobile fitness loops with on-chain ownership.
Genopets connects movement from a phone or wearable to the progression of a digital pet. The core loop borrows from fitness games and virtual companions: show up, move, care for the character, and watch it change over time.
The crypto layer can make parts of that progression portable or ownable. But consumer products live or die on the habit loop, not the token mechanics. If the daily experience is not enjoyable, ownership has very little to amplify.
That made Genopets a useful experiment in how on-chain assets might support a mainstream behavior instead of replacing it.
